Out of Sight, Out of Mind——眼不見,心不煩

如果你不讓自己被人注意到,你就很可能會被人忘記。

!! The proverb has been traced to the late thirteenth century Proverbs of Alfred: "For he that is not belooken is soon forgotten."
這句諺語可以追溯到十三世紀晚期Alfred的箴言:“對於那些不被看見的人,很快就會被遺忘。”
!! The earliest English appearance is in a 1450 translation of Thomas A Kempis's The Imitation of Christ: "Whan man is out of sight, sone he passeth out of mynde."
最早出現的英文是在Thomas A Kempis的一四五○年譯本“效法基督”:“當人離開視線時,他很快就會被人遺忘。”
