Rear Its Ugly Head——揭露了問題

!! The word “rear” meaning to set something upright or hold it in an elevated position was used in the phrase “horse rearing.” “Rear its head” had been around since the middle of the 17th century. During the 19th century, some writer added the word “ugly” to relate an image of something disagreeable, undesirable or unpleasant. “Rear its ugly head” is now often used.
