Move Heaven and Earth——竭盡全力
** exert oneself to the utmost to accomplish something(盡最大努力完成某事)
** 移山倒海;移天動地;斡天旋地;全力以赴;不遺餘力;拼上老命;偷天換日的手段
** pull out all the stops 全力以赴 // leave no stone unturned 不遺餘力 // spare no effort 不遺餘力
** This hyperbole and cliché was first recorded in 1792 when Arthur Young wrote about his travels in France : "Englishmen... would move heaven and earth to establish a better conveyance (transportation), at a higher price."
(這種誇張的陳詞最早記錄於1792年,當時Arthur Young寫了關於他在法國旅行:“英國人……願以高昂的價錢來移天動地建立較好的交通工具”。)
